Adam and Archie

Classic green and white for this gorgeous classy pair.   Dream clients (all my couples are!) who knew what they wanted but were happy to take advice and suggestions on board.

The arch was their statement piece for the ceremony but they wanted to make the most of it and all the other flowers by reusing them for the dinner and dancing area afterwards.  Especially crafted for me by a local artisan it is modulable to give me lots of options.  I covered it with chicken wire and attached water sources to gain maximum coverage with no need for floral foam!    I also used my "meadow" troughs down the aisle to help create the continuous floral runner.

Flowers included peonies, white roses, larkspur, astrantia, carnations, freesia and hydrangeas, plus gypsophila for the bridesmaids bouquets and sections of the aisle flowers.  French eucalyptus (always!), ruscus, pistache and homegrown bay, ivy and olive gave tones and textures of green.

The flowers on the "pièce montée" all came from my own cuttings garden - never treated with chemicals they are safe to use on food!
